It’s WMSTR Time!

Each year, Hawley Lutheran Church has the opportunity to support our Kids and Teen Ministries at WMSTR. As we work together as a church family, we support our kids and teens as they grow in faith in Jesus Chrsit through camp experiences and mission participation.

Who can serve?

At Hawley Lutheran Church, we believe that every member of our church has a role to play in raising up the next generation to know and love Jesus. We want to see all ages work together for the glory of God.

Sign up with your family, small group or bible study group. Invite friends, teammates or co-workers to be part of the fun. If your child or teen attended mission or bible camp in 2025, sign up to serve.

If your child or teen plans to attend camp or mission in 2026, sign up to serve.

If you are an adult and have an young adult child or grandchild who benefitted, sign up to serve.

If you care about kids and teens and life changing opportunities like camp and missions, sign up.

This opportunity is for everyone.

Helpful Hints:
1. Registering as a family or group? Please sign up EACH person on a different line. 

2. Children under 12 must have an adult present.

3. Due to pace of work and hot grills, please no children under 6.

What’s the schedule?

Several shifts are available, spanning many days, abilility levels and time requriements.

Sample of Shifts and Times Available:

Food Prep Teams

Pre - Event Cleaning Team (Tuesday before)

Pre - Event Load In Crew (Wednesday before)

Event Opening Shift (Friday - Monday)

Event Morning, Lunch, Afternoon (Friday - Monday)

Post Event Clean Up and Load - Out Team (Labor Day)

All funds raised support our kids and teens!

Did you know HLC provides 1/2 scholarships to every child that attends camp? Over 20 kids and teens received scholarships to attend bible camp! And, in 2025, WMSTR funds offset the cost of two teen mission trips! These funds are an benefit for our kids and teen ministry, as we partner with families to know God, grow in faith and go in service!
