Traditions
Sundays | 9:30 a.m.
With liturgy and hymns, accompanied by organ, this service celebrates our Lutheran heritage. Communion is celebrated the third Sunday of the month. A time for coffee and visiting follows. Sunday School is offered September through May for children in PreK- Grade 4. The service lasts about an hour and ten minutes.
Modern
Wednesday | 6:00 p.m.
Our modern service meets September - May. Led by our worship band, this service has a laid back vibe. Communion is celebrated the second Wednesday of the month. A community supper is offered before worship. Ministries for all ages follows. The service lasts about an hour. Worship all week on Spotify.
Sermon Series
At Hawley Lutheran Church, we use sermon series. Sermon series allow us to explore topics, books of the bible or theological themes in deeper, more meaningful ways. These series help us to see the bigger picture of the bible and apply God’s word in our day to day lives. Series also encourage reflection and discussion, as each message intentionally builds throughout the series. Most often, Hawley Lutheran follows sermon series developed with our faith community in mind. Occasionally, we will explore the lectionary or series adapted from other churches.

Wednesday Worship Team
The Worship Team leads our Wednesday modern worship services. From new worship music to modern arrangements of favorite hymns, our Worship Team shares their gifts and leads us into God’s presence. Sanctuary Choir
Our Sanctuary Choir rehearses most Sunday mornings at 8:20 a.m. (September - May) and sings one Sunday per month. The Sanctuary Choir also sings at special services such as Easter, Christmas, Ash Wednesday and more. Sanctuary Choir is open to anyone age 9 - 99. Contact Elaine Kluck to learn more.
Handbell Choir
The Handbell Choir practices and shares music in worship (September - May). Anyone high school age and older is welcome to come and join us. Being able to read music is helpful but not mandatory. For more information, contact Gayle Robertson.
Special Music
