Join us for Worship
Modern | Wednesday, 6:00 p.m.
Our modern worship service gathers Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m., September - May. Led by a worship team, this service includes worship music with guitars, piano and drums. This service is laid back with many kids and families. Communion is celebrated on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. A community supper is offered before services and ministries for all ages immediately follow this service.
Traditions | Sunday, 9:30 a.m.
Hawley Lutheran offers traditional services Sunday at 9:30 a.m. The liturgy and hymns are from the rich Lutheran tradition and music is from the hymnal and accompanied by organ. During the school year, the Adult Choir shares their gifts. Communion is celebrated on the first and third weekend of each month. A time for coffee, treats and visiting follows, as well as Sunday School from September to May.
What to Expect
Our worship services are laid-back, casual and comfortable. It is a come as you are atmosphere! While there is no “dress-code,” people often wonder what to wear when they first visit a church. Men at Hawley Lutheran wear anything from suits to jeans or shorts and polos or t-shirts. Women wear anything from dresses to jeans and dressy blouses or t-shirts. Any given worship service, you’ll find kids and teens wearing anything from dress clothes to athletic wear. Kids and teens are welcome and encouraged to be in worship with their families.
Directions and Parking
We have plenty of parking to the west and east of our church. The west side is on-street parking. To the east is our parking lot.

Want to learn more about who we are? Interested in taking the next step of becoming a member? Join us for our Membership course! Membership courses are provided two times a year (fall and spring) and are an opportunity to learn about our church, organization and what it means to be a member. These are information sessions only, at which you can determine if membership is best for you. Lunch and childcare are provided.
